Sierra Energy Group was formed in 2012 by Jeff Langford and named after his daughter Sierra who has been a great inspiration in his life. Its main business platform at the time was a business marketing consulting company for the Oil and Gas Industry. Jeff has owned businesses since he was 18 years old in different industries which eventually introduced him into higher level management rolls with international companies as well as VP of one of the fastest growing Alberta based public companies. Jeff has a proven ability of starting up new business as well as turning around failing business and making them successful and better organized in a very short time. With this experience and the downturn in the oil and gas industry he decided it was time to build another business for himself that he could carry into his retirement years. With already having 16 acres backing onto Highway 2 in High River he started thinking of ways he could utilize his property by selling to the 20,000 vehicles with potential buyers in them that passed by his property each day. With already having experience selling heavy equipment as well as specialized equipment he starting with a few pieces of heavy equipment and commercial flat deck trailers. Business grew quickly and he loved the people in the industry he was dealing with and that’s when he realized he had a real passion for this industry.

Vision:

We have built a company with a difference, to build a long term customer relationships company with good quality equipment, personal customer service, and provide these products at competitive prices. Currently Sierra Energy Group is exceeding sales growth month over month and more importantly building a returning clientele that feel safe and secure they are dealing with a company that genuinely wants them to be happy with their purchase. We don’t treat our customers like a number we always answer our phones 24/7 seven days a week and we get to know the needs of our customers.

Community:

Sierra Energy Group is driven to give back to its community and encourages other business to do the same. With a steady decline in Volunteering in communities that we are seeing today, we encourage all business to motivate there staff and show good examples in helping your local Charities as well as volunteering in your communities. River City Classics Car Club:

Jeff Langford was President for 6 years. Our Sept show that is currently the largest one day show in Western Canada with over 1200 vehicles and raises money for up to 20 different local Charities, hospital, hospice, kids lunch programs, women’s shelter etc.

Rotary International:

Jeff Langford has been a proud Rotarian supporting local and international efforts.

High River Ag society:

Jeff Langford has been on the board and is a past VP of the society.

Eamon’s Garage preservation:

Jeff has been involved from the beginning in saving the Eamon’s Garage and bringing it to High River with the RCCCC members support.
